OUR FINAL FAREWELL OFFERING!!
After 14 years and 125 Saturday evening UNITE meetings, Cedric and Jean believe that this is the time to hand over to others the running of these events. It has been a truly amazing journey and has included over 80 speakers and 45 different venues around Stoke-on-Trent in the main, but also in Cheshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. We have been honoured to serve all who have supported these events, and also those who have helped and served with us. Our chief honour has been to serve our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ who has led us on this exciting ‘pilgrimage'! Thank you, Lord; thank you everyone! Please come and support us at this landmark event and pray for someone for us to ‘hand over the baton' to! Let's see UNITE as a ‘relay' and not as a one-off ‘final lap'.
This September event will be honouring the Lord Jesus in testimony and praise as we welcome friends new and old(er)! Come and join Christians from Stoke-on-Trent, the Midlands, and beyond in celebrating JESUS, the Son of God who fervently prayed that we should all be ONE!
All are welcome to share their own testimonies of what Jesus has done in their lives. Those who don't yet know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour are also very welcome because they will have an opportunity to discover the transforming power of His presence in their lives. Worship will be led by PAUL CRITCHLEY. Our dear friend ALLEN LANGHAM is our guest speaker. Allen has spoken for us in both Blackpool and Bentilee!!
His amazing transformation from pro rugby player, violent hard man, enforcer, drugs and prison to a beautiful Christian man with a big heart for the broken is so real. Allen loves to minister to those with emotional problems to give them real, tangible hope in the Lord Jesus. In his previous times with us we've seen much response, especially from those who had never heard anything like his story before! So come and see what God will do! Come and share your Christian testimony. Come for prayer. Worship God and give JESUS 1ST PLACE! We'd love to see you! Parking available on Lidle car park next door to the hall.
